| | | | | | | | EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: | The Fire - EMS Department currently employs 114 EMS state certified personnel, which includes 47 paramedics, 22 intermediates, and 45 basics.
During National Emergency Medical Service Week (May 20 - 26, 2018), the department's Public Education Division, the Sugar Land Citizens Fire Academy Alumni Association, and local Sugar Land hospitals will be coordinating various activities to recognize our EMS staff in support of this year's theme "EMS Strong - Stronger Together." This is an opportunity to bring together local communities and medical personnel to publicize safety and honor the dedication of those who provide the day-to-day lifesaving services of medicine's "front line." |
