Through the Food Truck Strategic Project, the Environmental and Neighborhood Services Department identified the need to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the City's ordinances pertaining to food establishments in order to provide clarification and more efficient processes to better meet the needs of the community. The majority of the identified required modifications will have a direct impact on mobile food units while others will only impact fixed food establishments.

During the workshop, the Environmental and Neighborhood Services Department will review the framework of the proposed modifications with the City Council in order to obtain direction on the Code of Ordinance revisions.
