| | | | | | | | | EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: | Sugar Land Heritage Foundation was created in 2008 as a 501c3 organization for the purpose of preserving the history of Sugar Land and the historical structures, records, and artifacts. The bylaws provide for a Board of Directors of both Appointed Directors and Elected Directors. The number of directors may be no fewer than five (5) or more than twenty-five (25). As stated in the bylaws, “…the City of Sugar Land, Texas may designate individuals to serve in two director positions.
Doug Brinkley filled the unexpired term previously held by Steve Griffith, which expired on June 30, 2020. Directors serve three year terms.
Staff recommends Doug Brinkley to fill a three-year term to expire June 30, 2023.
