B.SECOND CONSIDERATION:  Consideration of and action on CITY OF SUGAR LAND ORDINANCE NO. 2131 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SUGAR LAND, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE OF ZONING FROM INTERIM STANDARD SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (R-1-I) DISTRICT TO NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS (B-1), GENERAL BUSINESS (B-2), OR BUSINESS OFFICE (B-O) DISTRICT FOR APPROXIMATELY 78 ACRES OF COMMERCIALLY DEVELOPED PROPERTIES IN NEW TERRITORY LOCATED BETWEEN (1) SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 90A AND WEST OF EASTON AVENUE; (2) SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 90A AND EAST OF GRAND PARKWAY 99; (3) NORTH AND SOUTH OF NEW TERRITORY BOULEVARD AND EAST OF GRAND PARKWAY 99; AND (4) ALONG HOMEWARD WAY AND SOUTH OF GATEWAY BOULEVARD.

IN ADDITION TO ANY EXECUTIVE SESSION LISTED ABOVE, THE CITY COUNCIL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ADJOURN INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION AT ANY TIME DURING THIS MEETING FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSULTATION WITH THE ATTORNEY AS AUTHORIZED BY TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE SECTIONS 551.071 TO DISCUSS ANY OF THE MATTERS LISTED ABOVE.

THE COUNCIL CHAMBER IS WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE AND SPECIAL SEATING IS PROVIDED. THE FACILITY IS EQUIPPED WITH A HEARING ASSISTANCE SYSTEM, AND HEARING ASSISTANCE DEVICE IS AVAILABLE.
