Consideration of and action on authorizing a purchase in the amount of $86,240.00 with Cobal Technologies, Inc. via HGAC-Contract No. EF-04-17 for sixteen (16) TopCam In-Car Video Systems.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the purchase of sixteen (16) TopCam In-Car Video systems totaling $86,240.00 from Coban Technologies, Inc. via HGAC-Contract No.: EF-04-17.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

The FY18 Sugar Land Police Department High Tech Replacement Fund includes $96,320.00 allocated towards the purchase of sixteen (16) in-car video systems due for high tech replacement. This high tech replacement purchase includes 16 in-car video systems, backseat cameras, dual band antennas, adapter plates, transmitters and software licenses supplied by Coban Technologies, Inc.

 

Coban Technologies, Inc. is the preferred vendor for all Police Department in-car video technology. Pricing for this purchase is supported by the HGAC Cooperative Purchasing Agreement, No. EF-04-17.

 

Staff requests City Council approval to purchase sixteen (16) in-car video systems and related accessories from Coban Technologies, Inc., via HGAC Contract No. EF-04-17, in the amount of $86,240.00.
