The FY18 Sugar Land Police Department High Tech Replacement Fund includes $102,000.00 allocated towards the purchase of thirty (30) radar systems currently due for replacement. This high tech replacement purchase includes 30 radars, antenna mounts and counting unit mounts.
The Stalker Radar system is a highly accurate and direction sensing radar unit currently utilized by the Sugar Land Police Department for measuring vehicle speed while conducting traffic enforcement.
Stalker Radar Applied Concepts, Inc. is the preferred vendor for all Police Department radar technology. Pricing for this purchase is supported by the HGAC Cooperative Purchasing Agreement, No. EF-04-17.
