| | | | | | | | | EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: | | On May 7th, 2017, the Fort Bend ISD Board of Trustees, Julie Diaz, and Richard Embrick were honored at the 16th Annual H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards. The Fort Bend ISD Board of Trustees won the School Board Award in recognition of their outstanding leadership at the board level. The Board was one of five Texas Public School Boards selected as finalists. Julie Diaz won the School Principal Secondary Award. Richard Embrick won the Rising Star Secondary Award which recognizes teachers with less than ten years of experience. The Fort Bend Education Foundation is being recognized for their support of education in Fort Bend County. |
