AGENDA CAPTION:
Greatwood and New Territory Municipal Utility Districts
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Recognize Municipal Utility District Directors for partnership and coordination during the planning and implementation of the annexation of the Greatwood and New Territory communities.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

On November 15, 2016 City Council approved Ordinance No. 2075 annexing the Greatwood and New Territory Municipal Utility Districts (the "Districts"), effective on 12:01am on December 12, 2017. In concurrence the Districts and their Boards will be dissolved.

 

The City of Sugar Land would like to recognize the Board Directors, past and present, of the Greatwood and New Territory Districts for their work and efforts to establish and maintain two first class communities with first rate infrastructure.
